What You need To Know

These classes are currently held on a one-on-one basis, unless advertised otherwise. If you have the 200 rounds of ammo needed for the class, please give us a call to make an appointment.

The Intro to Handguns Course is a good general overview of handgun selection and shooting. The Curriculum covers:

• The various types of handguns and advantages and disadvantages of each.

• The different types of ammunition and advantages and disadvantages of each.

• Safe handling and storage of a firearm.

• How to shoot a handgun accurately.

• How to select the right handgun for your needs.

After the first classroom portion of the course, participants will go out to the range and shoot a variety of handguns, including .22LRs, 380 ACP, 9mm, 38 Special, 45 ACP, and 44 Special. Other calibers are available upon request. This is designed to be a low stress atmosphere, and no one will be pressured into shooting anything they are not comfortable with.
