Louisiana Still Honors Texas CHL

If you are a resident of Texas with a Texas CHL, it will be honored in Louisiana. If you live in another state and have a Texas CHL, Louisiana will NOT honor it. The Louisiana State Police say they will only honor licenses from the state you reside.

New Gun Law

Beginning, August 14, we will be required to report personal information to the ATF of anyone who purchases more than one, semi-automatic rifle with detachable magazine, of a caliber greater than .22.
